Problem with multiple values in the Scene Outliner

When I select multiple objects in the Scene Outliner there are fields with different values so the editor shows “Multiple Values” and that’s ok, but when the field get and lose the focus it tries to commit the “Multiple Values” as a new value for all the objects, even if I didn’t change the value. This happens always when I change different properties and scroll down using the Tab key to skip some fields. If the propery is “Multiple Values” rises and error, but if the field is FString the old value is overwritten.

Hi imille,

I am trying to reproduce your issue but I don’t understand the step “but when the field get and lose the focus.”

Here are the steps I am following:

  1. Select Multiple Objects in the Scene Outliner
  2. See: “Multiple Values” listed for various transform values
  3. Select X Value
  4. Press tab to scroll between the values and change values to “32” (to test)
  5. No errors, No crash.

Also:

  1. Select Multiple Objects in the Scene Outliner
  2. See: “Multiple Values” listed for various transform values
  3. Select X Value
  4. Press tab to scroll between the values and don’t change values
  5. No errors, No crash.

Please explain what, if anything, I’m doing differently. Also what are environment are you in, MAC or PC?

Thanks for your help.

PC here, it doesn’t crash. Let me explain step by step with these screenshots.
