Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Landscape interaction with second landscape

Hi guys,

I'm trying to create a communication line between 2 landscapes in my level. What I am trying to do is have a water plane (landscape 1) and the terrain bumpmap (landscape 2) to get the info of WHERE they overlap in order to spawn a 2d particle system there to simulate waves or foam at the beach line.

I realise people have been trying to recreate the 'cryengine' style open ocean, which is the idea I'm going for just on a simpler level. I'm hoping that by opening a line of communication between the 2 landscapes I can get vector locations of the terrain-water hit.

Thanks guys.
