Smooth Static Mesh Rolling Transition?

Hi everyone, I apologize if this sounds confusing,

(attachment below) I am trying to make this static mesh roll fluidly, right now it snaps to its position. Is it possible to make this transition smoother? It would save me a lot of time and trouble from rigging animations if I can make individual meshes by themselves (for vehicle flaps and the like)

I’ve looked at these questions for possible solutions, if someone can get me on the right track please let me know, thanks in advance.
