Default fonts for UserWidgets

Hi!

I can’t find any project settings for UI where I can set default fonts for my project for all UMG widgets (like text block). I definetly sure that this parameter should exist. There is no way to change fonts path, size and other settings for more than 100 elements of interface.

Hello ,

The link I have provided is to a users question that was very similar to yours. The link will show you how to add new fonts to a project. As for setting the size, there is an option under the Appearance section of the details panel. If you click the drop down arrow for the “Font” selection you will be able to change the size and type of font here. I hope this helps.

Thank you for the answer. But I’m asking about some global setting in Project settings (like DPI curve) which will affect all new created widgets and all which using default font parameter at that time.

From the other side: I have already placed on my UMG widget about a 50 textblocks and all of them have default fonts parametere. I want to change that default font in one click (which I want to, when I’m creating a prototype and migrating to final builds) as default font for all placed elements.

Hello ,

After looking into the issue I have found that there is not a way to set the default font size for the UMG text block via the settings in the editor. I have submitted a feature request ( UE-6099) to have such an option available in the project settings. It was sent to the development team for further consideration. I will provide updates with any pertinent information as it becomes available.
