Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Tooltips won't work in standalone build

Hi!

I'm using default tooltips for elements of my UserWidget. And it works fine while I'm in editor. But when I'm building a standalone distribution copy through frontend, tooltips won't works at all.

UPD: more details were just investigated - no tooltips in fullscreen standalone build. In windowed mode it's ok.

Hello Alanir,

Thank you for your time and information. However, this is a known issue and it has been resolved internally and will be available in a later release.

Make it a great day

Any solutions?

Hello LimFOx,

As stated above, this issue has been resolved. However, if you are looking for a workaround you could try creating custom tool tips using UMG.

Example:

Here I made a widget that will be my custom tooltip. I set the overlay to "Size to content" and the the image to fill for the overlay.

alt text

I then place that widget inside of a widget called "Holder". In this example I have the widget constantly counting up so that it changes size as well as tracking the mouse.

This is my user widget that was created in the first image. I have set it to "Size to content" as well.

I hope that this helps.

Make it a great day
