Rigid Mesh option gone from the FBX importer

I’m not sure if this was overlooked or not. However, I can’t import as Rigid Mesh anymore in 4.5. I used this option to import Meshes with morph targets but no skeleton. The importer even tells me to check this option to fix the error. :slight_smile:

I could do this in 4.4. I suppose the quick fix is to add a bone and bind all the verts to it before import, but I liked the old way better.

Hey Devero,

There were some changes made that with the import process in 4.5 with the new import options window. This was an error and will be rectified hopefully for 4.6’s fully release, but is not currently in the preview version that is available.

At the moment adding a bone or creating the uasset in 4.4 and migrating are the only options.
