No head-tracking in editor mode?

My read of the source code is that you can’t use the HMD at all if you’re running the game inside the editor. Is there any way to get the editor to fetch the head orientation regardless of whether you’re running in the editor or not?

As far as I know, it’s impossible to use an Oculus Rift (or any similar device) inside the editor at the moment without extensive source editing. 4.3 is going to include the DK2 SDK plus some more features, so it’s possible HMD functionality will be extended in 4.3 as well. This is just me speculating, though, so take it with a grain of salt.
