How to support this dome projection

Hi

We would like to use UE4 for a dome system with four 3D projectors that project onto the inside of a dome. See picture. We would like to use head tracking and adapt the images for left and right eye in real time.

For this we would need support for:

  • image warping (with real time dynamic mesh for head tracking support)
  • multiple monitor (frame sequential) 3D

As far as we I can see, this is not supported yet in UE4.
Is it doable to implement this ourselves? We have experienced C++ programmers, but no experience with the UE4 code. So it probably depends on how well the rendering code is documented and how good the technical support will be.

About the warping:
Do you mean the “UV and ScreenPos” section in the “Post Process Materials” document?
I still do not see how to do the warping with this info. Is there some example somewhere?
