[4.6] Save on Compile causes crash in Play Stand Alone

  1. Use official 4.6 release.
  2. Have editor connected to perforce source control.
  3. Set blueprints to “Save On Compile” to “On Success Only”
  4. Launch your game from the editor using “Play\Stand Alone Game”.
  5. Game will crash with the following callstack.
  6. 100% repro
  7. Note: no crash when “Play\Selected Viewport” is used.

Not fixed in 4.6.1, will it be in 4.7? I’m glad I found this thread as I thought I had to rollback to 4.5. Cool feature though. :slight_smile:

Yes. It’s even fixed in the 4.7 Preview build presently in the Launcher. It was fixed in CL#2377925, so if you’re using GitHub, any build after that should include it.
