Terrain not being lit by particle lights?

I have a lightning effect with a large light in it. When the particle system fires, the objects on the terrain are being lit (rocks, buildings, etc), but the landscape itself is not. What can I do to diagnose and fix this?

Also, surely there has to be some sort of console command to let you view debug spheres for these particle lights; does anyone know what it is?

We’re also seeing that the light doesn’t seem to be playing in the same place that the lightning particles are, even though it’s inside the same particle system. So we definitely need some way to debug this if we’re going to figure this out.

I haven’t been able to reproduce this issue. Have you been able to debug your particle lights using the method I showed you in your other post? If so, can you post some screenshots of your setup and the issue?
