OSX Maverick 10.9.2 Unreal Engine SIGSEGV: invalid attempt to access memory

I just had download UE 4.0.1 via Unreal Engine Launcher
and got crash at launching:

  • sometimes this crashes after splash or after project dialog appeared

I have system and home folders on differents partitions

I beleve that this directly related to OSX, UE4.0.1 EXC_BAD_ACCESS while editor launching at IOHIDDeviceGetValue - Mobile - Epic Developer Community Forums

Yes, that seems to be same problem, thanks for posting links. We shuold have official update via Launcher soon, but for now please use quick fix patch linked in these threads.
