Does UE4 navigation meshes support large terrain?

Hi, I am thinking on looking at using the Unreal 4 engine to make an RTS game.
Does it support a navigation mesh over a large terrain? How many units could it roughly pathfind at the same time?

Also I would want to be able to place down buildings which the units should be able to navigate around. These buildings will be quite complex so they will need to be able to tightly follow around the walls. Is this possible?
