4.6.0. not visible in Library, only 4.5.0

Hi guys,

I can’t see the 4.6.0 UE version in my library. I see only 4.5.0. Am I doing something wrong? Or it is not yet available for download? I tried PC restart and so, but nothing works. Thank you for your answer.

Hey Khimari,

Thank you for posting about this issue. When you open the launcher on your PC, if you go into your library, are you able to see this section at the very top of the launcher:

If you click on the ‘Add Engine’ button there, you should be able to see 4.6 in the dropdown from the new engine location.

If not, would you be able to provide any screenshots so that i may be able to see what is occurring for you?

thank you for your answer. Yes of course, here is the screenshot. I thought this can be caused by expired subscription so I tried to re-subscribe again and I encountered payment issues as well. This is posted at payment department at the moment, I am waiting for response as well.

Anyway, if you have an idea why I can’t see the 4.6 it would be great to find a solution.

Would you be able to uninstall and then re-install the launcher and see if that may fix the issue?

so I tried to uninstall the launcher, removed the folder entirely, restart pc, download again, install again and the result is still the same, only 4.5.0.

Well, didn’t help.

OK,

I noticed something weird. There is a blank spot here, marked with black square in the dropdown menu list at the end. Selecting this square causes the window with engine version become blank and if I open the menu again, the blank spot is at first place where there was the 4.5.0 originaly.

This is weird.

I’m not sure if it is supposed to look like this… Can this be the missing 4.6.0 in invisible state? I have no subscription so I can’t try to download this at the moment :slight_smile: Unable to proceed with payment, hehe.

Well I expected to see 4.6.0. with yellow “subscribe” as for each version which I do not have access to (after 4.1.2.). It doesn’t seems to be logical that a bug in program is caused by subscription.

I believe your subscription maybe the issue. You will only have access to download engine versions that were released at the time your subscription ended. Anything after that you can’t download unless you resubscribe. Once your payment issue is dealt with, please try to download 4.6 and let us know how it goes. Just make sure to restart the Launcher after your subscription is active again.

You’re correct, version 4.6 should at least be listed. This is an issue we are currently investigating, but I hope that once your subscribed again it may bypass the issue all together.

I wish I could subscribe, but it seems there are some serious issues at your company’s side with payment transactions from some banks. Guys at payment department just send me a reather “general answer” about payment process issues at their side.

OK, I confirm that subscription solved my issue. As the subscribtion was possible to be payed, now I see the 4.6.0. version of engine in the launcher. All good.
