Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

What is the in-Game GUI solution we are going to use?

Hello! During the era of UE3, most projects were using Scaleform, and Scaleform was supposed to be the de-facto solution for GUI development. But it seems there is no Scaleform support for now, and Scaleform isn't included in the 19$/month deal, so, what solution we are going to use to develop those complicated GUI, like those UI in MMO games. Thank you for your time!

EDIT: It seems the system called "Slate" is being used in the examples and works pretty well, but there are quite few information about it, are there some kind of tutorials about Slate UI? Thank you!

Hey guys, I want to create a 3D- VR- UI which is based on head Rotation as an Input (my Goal platform is HTC Vive). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sq9NOukgxQc at 19:02 you can see a visual example of what I'm aiming for. What are your recommendations on going about this? Use slate or UMG UI designer? Or to create a blueprint class by myself?
