Why is Unreal Engine 4 crashing when importing .raw
When I try to import an 8-bit .raw weight-map into the layers section I get a crash. Am I doing something in correctly? I am just trying to import .raw files from world machine into unreal for building my terrain layers. I am new to this so any help would be great! I'll attach a picture of what I am trying to do. I attached the crash log as well.link text

Hi, Sorry for the inconvenience. If you could send me the RAW file and information about your landscape size it will really help me debug what's going wrong. You can find the landscape size if you open the the Change Component Size tool under Manage.
I would also recommend using a PNG file now that we support that, because PNG files have data to confirm the filesize and format better. Does that work?
