Dynamic Lighting and Light Propagation Volume - Light Bleeding Through Static Mesh Edges

Hi guys,

I’m getting a strange issue with my static meshes. I’ve turned on dynamic lighting and I’m getting some light bleeding through my walls and the floor where the meshes touch.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Garasin,

Try adjusting your Shadow Bias and and Shadow Filter Sharpen to reduce the light bleed in your Directional Light. This is part of using Dynamic lighting. Adjusting the shadow bias too low will give you banding. You will have to adjust between the two to find a good setup that fits your needs. Alternatively. using thicker walls will also help.
