I Bulid light -its ok, after this i try save example.map and Crash !

  • i clean all Swarm Folder, and its still crash

  • i have free space on Hard Drive

  • i have good specifications, ram, not overlocked, cold computer

  • other projects, works fine,

  • Building Lights going okey, i can work after this, run project, i can save materials, mesh, only when i try save examplemap its crashing !

  • i see one thing, after this crash, my project openning very long time, after this of course i have unbuild lights

i notice smth interresting, when i remove all Lightmass importance volume, its working, no crash when i save, after build light, but when i put new Light mass importance volume, no matter where, no matter how much , no matter so big, its crashing again when i save my project, after bulid lighting

Unfortunately, I’m not able to get the same results on my end with a simple scene in one of the template project (I tested with the First Person Template).

I can see from the call stack that you’re using 4.6. Can you tell me what template you were able to cause the crash with or was this happening with any that you tried?

Also, I am unable to pull up your crash logs in our crash reporter with the call stack and ID above. Can you post those here as well? (Located in your projects folder > Saved > Logs)

NEW INFO !!!

i clean folders DerivedDataCache, and Swarm, and one time its finish with 100 % succes, no error, build good, and i Save My Project without problems, but after add some meshes, very small changes, i build again , and crash again (only in moment when i save project) building lights going good everytime.

I make copy and make some Test Light Build on 4.7 Preview, and in this time, its crashed after building light, but in moment when editor makes exporting files, this means befor my chance to save my work :frowning:

Can you post a zip file with the crash logs (located in Your Project Folder > Saved > Logs )? Also can you post your DXDiag (Go to Start Menu > Run > Type in DxDiag > Enter > Save to Text File) and attach that here as well?

Can you tell me what template you’re using? This log looks like you’re using a custom project. Can you try building lighting in a template project like the Third person template or the first person template and let me know if that crashes?

Its was custom FPP project without C+

i SOLVED my problem, by creating new blank custom FPP without C+, copy all objects , models, texture by hand copy (TC)
and next i copy all elements from one window editor to new window editor, i build more by 3 times light with different light, everything its great, TESTEN in start 4.61 ver, and 4.7 Preview, this means models, and texture was OKEY, also i copy blueprints level from old project to new blank project, this means practical i copy all, where was error i donknow, after my fight with this, i think its the best method on project with this crittical error, Thank you very much for answers, i wanna close this Topic, meybe i not solved this in good way, we dont know what element was damage, but now its working !, for me its more important in this moment,
