Is there any way to enable apex physx clothing on android?

Is there any way to enable apex physx clothing on android?

I have it working in the editor but once I build for android the clothing stops working and becomes a stiff static mesh.

This functionality has not been added to the editor for mobile yet. If you need it before that you’ll need to look at other options, like SaxonRah’s suggestion with NVIDIA’s site.

Just wondering what you mean by not added to the editor. We’ve tried packaging for an nVidia Shield (has a Tegra), and the cloth is still static. It animates in a standalone build for the PC. By ‘editor’ do you mean the mobile preview? Is there currently a way to get it working on a Tegra processor? We’re on 4.6.1.

Hi ,

What I meant was that APEX Cloth and Destructibles will not work with mobile. They may appear to work when viewing in the editor but on Mobile that functionality has not been added yet. It’s on the “To-Do” list but there is no specific time line for when this will be added.

Currently, without doing the coding work yourself, you will not be able to use cloth or destruction on mobile. It may appear to work in the mobile previewer as some things will, but they won’t function when packaged for mobile.
