Content folders between projects?

Hello everybody,

my question is: Is it possible to simply copy a certain folder from another project to another? Like I would love to copy some stuff of the content example to another. But the problem is if I try to open these files in the project I moved the files to, than most of the things getting reset or deleted. For example textures in materials getting the basic texture (none) and also variables getting reset. Is there a way to avoid reseting/removing certain elements the materials/blueprints when I copy certain folders from one project to another?

There are multiple possibilities as to why you would be having these issues but yes it is entirely possible to do so.

Try recompiling what you moved over or re-importing the new files.
