Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

4.6.1 form extended structure vs rigid body projectile reports wrong actor on contact

Hi,

Found issue when rigid body projectile hit some destructibles forming extended structure.

Take a look on the movie and debug print string:

Left wall is created without marked form extended structure and right wall destructibles have marked form extended structure.

But when you mark Form Extended structure on the left wall you can reproduce this issue too:

 DestructibleMesh'/Game/StarterContent/Shapes/sm_en_hou_Wall_01_02_DM.sm_en_hou_Wall_01_02_DM'


Of course I created a sample project where You can reproduce this issue on your side.

Shot some projectiles will LMB and observe the issue.

Oh forgot to mention, non rigid body projectile reports good actor on projectile hit.

Hi Pierdek,

Thanks for the sample. That helped get the repro and reproduce this in a new project. I'm in the process of setting up a sample that's not so heavy (122mb) to go with the bug report. I'll update here with the bug report reference.

Currently this issue is backlogged and has not been assigned to an engineer. There are other priorities being focused on currently and this issue will be fixed in a future release.

I'll update once this issue once a fix has been submitted and verified fixed.
