Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Packaged small project is HUGE. How can i cut down on the size?

My project's packaged file size is over 600 mb. its a fairly small project. How can i cut out some of the unnecessary memory?

I have seen a bunch of posts asking this same question but non seemed to be answered. THIS IS A QUESTION THAT NEEDS AN ANSWER! so lets figure this thing out!

What I have done so far:

  • made a mistake before I knew how bad it would be by adding the starter content. The file used to be 1.3 gb but I brought it down to like 637 mb after deleting it all.

I will add more to the list as people suggest.

Hi beanswaggle,

For what platform are you attempting to package? From the size I am assuming you mean Windows. If so, here is another thread with some ideas of how to reduce your package size.

Hope this helps!
