Tablet Crashes on Launch! Help Please

I cannot seem to get my tablet to launch any game at all. I need to be able to test my game on the target platforms, but every time it says “Launch Success” my screen on my tablet goes black for a few seconds, then closes the program. I’ve tried everything, including creating a new game and launching (a template) without adjusting anything, but receive the same problem. I’ve checked the site below for compatibility of my tablet with UE4:

This site shows a list of tested and expected devices and their compatibility. The following is what my tablet says:

Device: Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7
Model: GT-P3100
LDR: Supported
Basic Lighting: Shows only UI
Full HDR w/Sun: Crashes on Launch
TappyChicken 4.6: Runs

When it says “Crashes on Launch,” does that mean that it will do that every time? Is there a way around this or do I need to find and purchase a more compatible device? What’s the “UI” that only shows on this device? How do I fix this?

Howdy Fristomer,

Thank you for reporting this issue. I have been able to reproduce what you have been seeing with ease. I have entered Jira report 7305 into our bug database so that the issue may be resolved in a future release. I will be sure to keep you updated if i receive any information on this report.

Crashes on launch means that, once the project is deployed, when it is selected on that device, will crash the project before it is loaded.

As for a new device, This device is on the lower end of what is supported currently. I would maybe look into a better device so that issues like this may not occur.

Thanks and have a great day!

It’s more about the tablet itself, the Samsung had the same problem, but I bought an iPad, everything works quickly from games on this online casino PaySafeCard site to very resource-demanding games with cool graphics.
