No input to cast node compiles without error

This has happened to me multiple times this week from refactoring. If a cast node loses it’s input, it happily compiles and runs without any errors. I can’t think of any case where this would be desirable behavior. It should always fail to compile IMHO.

In the main Event Graph of my parent class BP_BaseDeck which is a child of Pawn. Here is a bigger screenshot, although I’ve reconnected the wire here.

I was able to reproduce this and have entered a bug report, UE-7306 to be assessed by the development staff. Thank you for your reports thus far and if you find any more errors, please post them to the answerhub as well!
