Odd Material Splotches at a distance?

I’ve been nicking assets from other projects to just practice with the engine by making a horror game. I’ve been getting the lighting to look decent in a test level, but one of the materials is acting up (which I took from the free Apartment project on the store (The exterior wall texture).

As I move back from my walls of this texture, these creepy black mold-like splotches appear on them, as you can see on the wall in the middle. Why am I getting this effect and how can I remove it? Is it related to LOD?

For clarification are you referring to the Realistic Rendering Map available in the Learn tab now or Xoio Berlin Flat available in the Marketplace and can you also let me know what version of the editor you are using?

My mistake, I thought it was called apartment. This would be the Realistic Rendering Map’s texture for the exterior of the apartment building. I am using 4.6.

So I was looking at the Material and texture and wanted to check on a couple of settings that you are using. Are you using the Instance Material and if so what have you set the Normal Intensity to? Setting this value too high could generate some rendering errors like you are experiencing?

I am continuing to look into this but I wanted to check on this setting first -

I had it set to 10. I switched it down to 1 and now it seems to be fine! Thank you!
