A problem about Landscape Material

Hello everyone!

I am not exactly sure if it is a big problem or not, but since I am a beginner on material creation, everything seems to me big! So I hope I can get some help, here is the story!

I am trying to make a terrain material that can change from snow to rock, depending on the angle. I am using [3D Modeling & Texturing: [Unreal Engine 4] Automated Terrain Texturing][1] (Thanks to him for all this), I just simplified it for my needs for now. Let me show you the picture so it will be completely clear!

In the picture, you see there are total of 3 textures. One pure snow, one is pure rock, and between “snowy rocks”, used for transition.

Everything is in acceptable degree for now, but the places I showed with black arrows are the problem for me. You see, the transition between snow and snowy rock is literally from 0 to 1. And when I want to use HeightMap to do it, it is completely ignored. Here is my material so far;

And here is what I want to achieve; (This works if I make the painting myself, with layerblends)

You can see the transition from snow to snowy-rock is well… snowy!

Thank you for your reading and time^^

Found the solution by using Height Lerp. :slight_smile:
