Help can't open my project

Help please. Engine Version 4.6.1. This is a project I’ve been working on for 2 months. Now it crashes every I try to open it. Other projects don’t crash when I open them. Here is the crash report:

By the way it’s a full blueprint project

you might want to try these options

1: disabling anti-virus
this can prevent unreal engine from accessing the engine files and your project files
2: reinstall unreal engine
this could also be a problem because your engine files might have become corrupt
3: run a ram check
i dont know if this will help or not but its best to cover all bases amirite

I can’t afford to lose this. exp system item drop system inventory system mobs AI all networked and working on dedicated server. basically a working ue4 mmorpg went away ten mins ago and I really need help here

PS reinstalling Unreal Engine dosnt delete your project you just have to goto the projects folder and click the project file to open

I tried disabling antivirus. I clicked on engine version and verified it, it said something like files changed and gave the option to show folder. But didn’t work I think. Now I’m reinstalling

Here’s an idea.

In your project folder, rename your Config folder to Config.bak, and Intermediate to Intermediate.bak then try loading the project.

Could also try with Saved to Saved.bak, too.

could you provide what event viewer says when you try to open your project it might provide some insight

I changed the myCharacter blueprint with the one from 2 autosaves before I think, it’s working right now but I still want to know the reason for this crash, so the question is still open if anyone can sort out what’s going on.

Ok I cloned the project and working on the clone now, the sick project is still there and I’ll apply any suggestions until one works.

amigo when I did that the project opens with a blank level, but when I load my level it crashes.

The problem still persists with the new one somehow, it was working fine and I saved and closed the engine last night. Now when I try to open the project it crashes.

Does it crash at 35%. Have Task Manager open and check the ram it is using.

Then I suggest packing your broken project and sending it to Epic, maybe they can fix it somehow.

It was crashing at %66.

Before the original crash, did you make any changes to your Projects Settings like the ‘Project Name’ or the ’ Project ID’?
