4.6 Crashes on startup

I have just installed 4.6 and the very first project I loaded (which was created in 4.5.1) worked fine for a few minutes and then crashed. Now, I can no longer even open a blank project in either 4.5 or 4.6. However, 4.4.3 and 4.7 preview still work without issue. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 4.6 and verified the installation multiple times. Can anyone suggest how to fix this?

Well, I completely uninstalled Unreal from my computer and reinstalled, then redownloaded 4.6.1 and before I could even open a project, it crashed. I’m so tired of trying to sort this out myself.

Hey SVR33,

I’m looking into your crashes right now. I notice that there’s a Config file mentioned. Just to test, could you try clearing out the config files from your engine install before reopening the editor? They should be located at: C:\Users\YOUR_NAME\AppData\Local\UnrealEngine\4.6\Saved\Config\Windows. Just delete (or move) the files and try to reopen the editor. Let me know if it still crashes when opened.

Hi Jonathan, I cleared out the folder and but 4.6 crashed again. New CrashLog and UE4.Log files attached.
