Can't compile old projects

Great day! I upgraded to windows 8.1(from 7) and now i can’t compile my old projects! Error saying that in #include that standard library is not found. I manged to successfully build projects in VS with a little trick - said VS to inherit include directories(which is standard - ms sdk+vc headers). But when i build it and open UEditor there is also same message that project is old and should be rebuild, clicking convert in place deletes fixed project files and i’m getting same problem again.

What i was trying to do with 0 result:

  1. Reinstalling of OS-SDK-MSVS-UEngine
  2. Creating INCLUDE environmental var(nor VS,nor engine build script see it)
  3. Rebuilding in visual studio-which is works with some magic(above),but project won’t open anyway in editor

Hi rozenbor,

Would you be able to provide some additional information about this issue?

  • What version of the Engine are you using?
  • Are you using the binary version of the Engine, or did you build the Engine from source code?
  • Could you provide an example of the exact error message?
  • Have you checked to make sure you have the Windows 8.1 SDK installed?

Hi rozenbor,
