Hi MrMonster,

Try the ‘No Version Info Received’ & the ‘Launcher is Unable to Download Content’ troubleshooting steps linked below. Afterwards if the issue is still present, please follow the 10 steps at the bottom of the page to find your ‘Verbose Logs’ and post them here. They will help us track down the issue.

Hello MrMonster,
I check the logs but they do not look like they’re verbose. Make sure there is not a [Core.Log] section already in the DefaultEngine.ini before you copy the text from step 4 in there. If it is already in there you should just have to fill in the parameters with “veryverbose”

Ahh, Sorry! Now they should be right

Sorry! Lets try again! link text

HI MrMonster,

That still looks like the standard logs. Make sure you are following the 10 steps at the bottom of the link Maximus posted. The Verbose Logs will generally be larger in file size and if you word search them the word Verbose is written several times throughout.

Haha, i suck!
NOW the word Verbose is present in the log file. Sorry again.
I hope i can get this thing going soon…link text

Hi MrMonster,

Thanks for this information. I’ve taken a look at the logs, and can see that the launcher is not managing to connect to any of our back end services, as you suspected.

So I gather you’ve ensured that you have at least one TLS option ticked in your Internet settings as per the troubleshooting guide.

In your browser, please navigate to https://account-public-service-prod03.ol.epicgames.com/account/api/version and let us know what you see.

Also, please can you let us know if you’re behind a proxy, as these can sometimes block access to our services. If you are behind a proxy, please contact your system administrator and ask them to add proxy exceptions for our domains *.ol.epicgames.com.

Finally, are you running a firewall (either locally or on your network) which could be blocking any outbound traffic?

Yeurch.

So, i checked everything twice and nothing. Then i heard we´r behind a proxy. Soooo…now it works!
Im happy!
Thnx for the help
