Mac OS X. Unreal 4.6.1. Mouse cursor jumps during navigation in editor

MacBook Pro Retina (July 12)
Processor: 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7
Memory: 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 1024 MB
Mac OS X 10.9.5
Second monitor.

Unreal Engine 4.6.1
Blank Blueprint project.

The second monitor is connected through HDMI. The main monitor - notebook monitor. The main monitor at the left side of the second monitor. Unreal editor on the second monitor.

During navigation in the viewport (RMB, LMB+RMB). The mouse cursor can jump to some left-top position. Sometimes to the other monitor. Position of the viewport camera is changed in accordance to this jump. Usually the camera loses objects in the world. The same jumps happen in BP Editor in Graph mode (RBM navigation, pan).

Such jumps happen very often. Very irritating when you cannot move to some object.

Hello Michael L,

Would you mind providing me with your ‘dxdiag’ so I can have a look at your hardware specs?

Thanks,

dxdiag on Mac ?! khm … are you kidding ?! And I do not think that this problem is connected with hardware or drivers. I saw that Unreal already had similar problems. But they was reported as solved. And it looks like software problem IMHO. I do not experience such sudden shift of coordinates in any other program.

Hey Michael L,

Apologies, I am used to requesting dxdiag from all of the desktop windows users. Are you using an external non-Apple mouse?

If so, could I get the information on that device?

Thank you,

Hi Andrew,
