Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

[Closed] (4.6) Android: How do I remove the Navigation Bar

The navigation bar is located at the bottom of the screen

I'm not quite sure how to remove it from the screen. I've browsed the Manifest.xml and all the Android settings in the Editor... I can't find an answer. Someone else asked here a little while ago with no luck also.

Please advise.

When programming directly for Android, we have to use:

View decorView = getWindow().getDecorView();

// Hide both the navigation bar and the status bar.

// SYSTEM_UI_FLAG_FULLSCREEN is only available on Android 4.1 and higher, but as

// a general rule, you should design your app to hide the status bar whenever you

// hide the navigation bar.

int uiOptions = View.SYSTEM_UI_FLAG_HIDE_NAVIGATION | View.SYSTEM_UI_FLAG_FULLSCREEN; decorView.setSystemUiVisibility(uiOptions);

So I would probably check for something like that.

Sorry If I can't help you more then that.
