Is there a way to Render Fog into SphereReflectionCapture ?

Hi,

I would like the Fog colour in our level to be rendered into the SphereReflectionCapture is there a reason we should be aware of why it is currently ignored by the reflection captures?

Hey UppercutAJ -

When you are referring to fog are you talking about exponential height fog or atmospheric fog or both? Also just for quick reproduction what version of teh engine are you using?

We are using v.4.5 and the fog is Exponential Height Fog.

Does the Atmospheric Fog get rendered into the reflections? maybe we should change to that?

Hey AJ -

You should be able to have it render the Exponential Fog. I just wanted to make sure I was testing the correct fog actor. If you add a sky light and ensure that Lower Hemisphere is Black is set to False (unchecked) (turn off Cast Shadows as well unless you need it to cast them, you should be able to render your fog. Also after any changes to the fog make sure that you are updating the capture in your Reflection Capture Actor.
