Blueprint Actor with Dark Texture

Hello,

I have an issue where in my blueprint actor I have a sliding door using the same material but when I place the actor inside of map it does this Yin and Yang effect which isn’t what it is suppose to do.

If anyone could help that would be great. Also this using 4.6.

I noticed in your screen shot you have two light actors within your Blueprint.

What purpose do these lights serve, because I am thinking these are taking some precedent over the lights in your scene and causing your issue to occur.

For troubleshooting purposes, try disabling, or deleting these lights temporarily to see if this is this case.

Right sorry, these light actors are just the emissive green orb to show the door is open.
I tried with these deleted but the door still looked the same.

If you would like, you can share this blueprint asset with me via the Forums.

Just zip the asset in a folder and Private Message me on the Forums with the attachment so I can test it on my end as well.

Are you using 4.6.1 or strictly 4.6?

This is an interesting bug, and most likely has something to do with the lights in your scene and not the blueprint itself.

Yeah I am working strictly in 4.6 as this is for a game I am working on. Is your username here the same as the forum?
