Mac: Unable to change custom font in UMG

I am unable to change the font in UMG Widget. I have added the font that I want to change to in the Slate/Fonts/ folder and things work perfectly fine on Windows but when I do the same thing on MacBook the font doesn’t get updated.

I have placed the font in the MacBook’s Slate/Font/ directory as well but it simply doesn’t detect my custom font. Please help

I’ve taken a look at UE-8193 but I’ve been unable to reproduce this issue on OS X (using 4.5.1).

Does the same thing happen if you put your font inside the “Slate/Fonts” directory for your games content (you may have to make this)? This is the more correct place for your font to live as Engine content (which is where you said you put it before) can change in future versions.
