Blueprint Automated Door Tutorial Issues

The tutorial I am having trouble with is this one: A new, community-hosted Unreal Engine Wiki - Announcements - Epic Developer Community Forums

The textures provided dont seem to be working properly. When I put the downloaded folder into my UE4 project, the static meshes dont show up and I am left with a gray door. Now if I look at the provided Material files, there is the following error showing up:

Error [SM5] (Node TextureSample) TextureSample> Missing input texture

I also sometimes get an Access Violation crash when I put the downloaded files like this:

Am I doing something wrong here?

It is possible that the problem is the incompatibility of some assets list, or an error in the current version of UE. I open this assets in UE 4.7 with latest fix from github and get error. I will report about this problem. I think we get fix for this issue.

I actually went ahead and finished the tutorial without the textures and the rest was working properly. It’s just a shame the textures dont work.

This still has problems. I thought at first that it is a directory structure problem (and it could still be), but mostly what is missing in the end appear to be textures, even though they appear to be in the zip file. The zip has redundancies too, though I am not sure if that is on purpose. A good fix would be to put a correct project (leaving the developer to complete) under ‘LEARN’ category in the Epic Launcher. I do like the material covered in this tutorial as well as the extras and would like to complete it as intended. Uploading the file properly as a project should be easy for whomever created it (awesome Zak?) where it should be working fine.

Seems the new zip doesn’t work on 4.18.2. It appears the textures files that are in uasset (copied to windows folder) but they don’t load in the editor so the MAT are invalid and the SM ends up with default material. if anyone has the ability to post the textures that would help make the tutorial valid again.
