Documentation of older versions

Hello fellow UE4 fans,

I was curious if you can access older versions documentation. For example if your subscription runs out and a new version was added. Would you still be able to access the docs of your older version? I searched and couldn’t find anything on it. Thanks in advance.

Hi AwardedTurtle87,

Since the documentation is an online entity that is continually being updated there is no older versions that can be accessed.

The majority of things in the editor do not change that dramatically that things cannot be inferred between the new and older versions.

Is there any problems you’re running into where things have differed dramatically and do not make sense?

Thanks!

Tim

I still have my subscription, so I didn’t have an issue yet. It seems like I won’t have a problem. Thanks for the great answer!

I know this is over 4 years later, but is there some particular reason I’m not seeing for why even the API docs for each class can’t be made a new version instead of overwriting the old one at least going forward? Has perspective changed at all in the last several years where that could occur now? It is usually minor stuff but you will find things like a renamed function, or a function that’s moved to a new class, or a function that is new in the last version or two. It’s never catastrophic but it can be a real headache.
