3d view port different from material preview

I’m working on a star material. I have a fairly large texture, 2048 x 2048. The texture displays differently from the 3d view port to the Material preview view port. On the screen shot below you can see the left side is the 3d view port and the desired look is on the right, the material preview. I don’t have any post effects on besides auto exposure to have it disabled.

Anyone have any idea why the resolution would be displaying differently?

I figured it out. It was the anti-aliasing. If I turn it off, it fixed the problem, however, then my scene is jagged, and in dire need of AA. Any ideas on how I could disable AA on just this one material?

You can try to enable AA and check the responsive AA check box in your material which may eliminate the issue.
