Can't create Project for Android

Hi, I wanted to package my project for android but all that happens when I clicked on File > Package Project > Android is that a emty tutorial screen pops up. The same as I open tutorial under help. So how can I package my project for Android? Is this possible for iOS too?
My Computer:
Windows 8 Pro
Intel Core i7-2630QM
NVIDIA GeForce 540M, 2GB VRAM
8GB DDR3 Memory
hope you can solve my problem

Hi Bostrot. Can you verify that you’ve gone through the setup process specified in our Getting Started with Android documentation? Generally speaking, the Android tutorial (which appears to be missing for some reason) should only trigger if your Android environment is not set up or is setup incorrectly.

yes I read it

Ok. Did you install the TADP or are you installing each of the components individually? If you are installing the individual components, which ones have you installed? Also, please verify that you have configured your environment variables correctly.

I installed the TADP

Strange, what happens when you try to package for PC?

nothing only this white tutorial page comes up

You could be encountering multiple issues. For the white tutorials, keep an eye on this thread:

There’s a also a workaround there you can use to disable all tutorials and see if that unblocks you from packaging.

Getting a tutorial popup when packaging for Windows sounds like a new issue. I was going to suggest you confirm in this thread each of your environment variables for Android development, but the fact you’re getting the tutorial when you attempt to package for PC seems to indicate another problem.

You could try the “verify install” option in the launcher to be sure your build has everything you need.

yes I clicked on “verify install” and the android packing doesn’t work. The answer on white tutorial is wring because I searched for this fileon my whole computer but didn’t found this

Ok thanks I reinstalled it the third time and it works. But very slowly… Four hours for the last build. Is this Normal?

Probably not. What device are you trying to package for? For example if you’re packaging for the Nexus 5, you might be able to select “Android ATC” to get better packaging speed. If you continue to have problems with slow packaging speeds, would you mind weighing in with your details on any relevant threads about that? If there aren’t any, feel free to start a new one! Glad to see you’re past this step.
