Lighting issue with modular construction set

Hello There

I’m missing something obvious and I need a hand please.
Context: pre-production for FPS indie title

I’m trying to put in place a simple modular set to build our levels.
Walls are simple meshes with planes (picture 1 and 2 -assembled- ).

  • Inside UE4: “use two sided lighting” + “cast dynamic shadow” + “cast static shadow” + “cast shadow as two sided” are all checked.

  • No particular post process activated

  • Lightmaps are very dense and very well aligned (picture 3)

  • Same material used on all walls

  • In certain lighting scenario, I get what you can see on picture 4 and 5 (close up)

What am I doing wrong please ?

Update: I’ve just found out multiple topics about the same issue.
I have new things to try before declaring myself defeated :slight_smile:
