How to set up lighting to create white windows?

I am currently try to recreate something similar to what can be seen here: http://www.wallpaperhi.com/thumbnails/detail/20120806/white%20architecture%20interior%20modern%201680x1050%20wallpaper_www.wallpaperhi.com_67.jpg

I want to create windows that you can’t actually see through but still have realistic looking lighting coming through. I’ve tried by using an emissive square and a light but it doesn’t look right and the light hitting the floor looks odd (and circular). Any suggestions?

Hey BraXzy -

You can set a Skydome outside your level and the window to use a Pure White Emissive Material (with the Color placed in Emissive Color set to something like 10,10, 10) and then with a Post Process Setting adjust your Auto Exposure (the Eye Adaptation) and Bloom to better get the effect you are after. As for the Circular light, that sounds like you need to increase the Lightmap Resolution on your floor / wall static mesh (remember if it is a BSP you will be decreasing the number).

Here is a sample project I setup to for you.
