Could you exactly tell me what you problem is?

If you want to cast to your MyCharacterBlueprint, then you would need to drag a pin from a Character Variable.

Also check the “Context Sensitive” mark in the Context Menu. It is not marked on your second screen.

If this doesn’t help you, then please give me some more information where exactly your problem is and what exactly you want to achieve (:
