I can’t open it in any other version and I can’t get this one to open. anyone know?

Hello BRhodes,

I have a couple of suggestions for you that may help get you back up and running while we search for what may be causing this issue.

Suggestions:

  1. Have you tried opening a back up that is made by the engine automatically (a version before the crashing started)? The default directory is as follows: C:\Users\YourUserName\Documents\Unreal Projects\YourProjectName\Saved\Backup
  2. Have you tried migrating your assets to a new project (preferably in small groups so as to pin point what may be causing the crash)?

I also have a few questions to to help narrow down your issue.

Quick questions:

  1. Are you able to reproduce this crash with a clean project?
  2. If so, could you provide a detailed list of steps for us to reproduce the issue on our end?
  3. If not, could you provide a simplified version of your project for us to test?

Hello BRhodes,

We have not heard back from you in a few days, so we are marking this post as Resolved for tracking purposes. If you are still experiencing the issue you reported, please respond to this message with additional information and we will offer further assistance.

Thank you.
