To clarify, did you update you project sequentially i.e. 4.2…4.3…4.4…?

Also, did you open a copy of your project or did you convert it?

Yes, I updated sequentially from 4.2 onwards. I always make a copy of my project to see if things work before I upgrade in case something breaks.

I saw that the Advanced Vehicle template was known to be broken, so I will not be attaching that in this crash log. link text

It worked fine until Preview5. Now you have a Project to test.

Hey guys,

A suggested fix for your issue would be to remove the Intermediate and Saved Folders from your original project,(just delete them) and then convert your project to 4.7p5.

This solution should fix the map crash, but you will have to recompile the shaders when you first open the project again. Let me know if this resolved your issue or if you are still having trouble.

Unfortunately this is a known and reported issue. We are working hard to resolve this error and we appreciate your patience with this matter as we do so.

link text These are the logs from a very old copy of the project (from 4.4). I made a copy of the 4.4 backup and updated it to 4.7p7. This one does NOT crash. It works fine. Things not present: World Composition, AI controllers using behavior trees, interactive sconces, and SpeedTree trees.
