Hidden in Game for Large Maps helps in performance?

I have a giant level in my game and I want to know if I use the Hidden in Game function, to hide some staticmeshs, skeletal Meshes, particles and etc; I will make my game more faster…without these assets stealing FPS…

I need to bring back this assets when the player get close again!

Yes, I would like a confirmation on that either!

I made a test and works…i spawned 1400 spheres (900 tris each one) with simulated physics…my FPS was 40 for 8…When i used the hidden in game my FPS went to 120
