Does UE4 support armatures with unconnected bones? Specifically those produced by Blender.
By this I mean bones that may have a hierarchic “parent”, which they inherit offset, orientation and scale from, but are otherwise not connected to it in any way. Here’s an example for a tank’s turret and gun elevation:
I am asking because I can’t seem to get them to work without screwing up every single animation. Unity handles them well both natively (directly importing the .blend) or after exporting a binary fbx from blender.
