Pakaged Build Gives Unknown Exception Error, But works fine in Editor

Hello, So i had just created a project, and built it for some playtesting, and upon packaging the project, it started saying Unknown Exception Code 0000001 (First/Second Chance not found) .
Any help with this? I cant figure out why this is happening, as it works fine in the editor.

Hey

Which Version are we talking about, and could you post the full logs of the packaging process.

You can find them after a crash in PROJECTNAME\Saved\Logs

Best

im running 4.6.1

And the log is here as follows:

Howdy DragonHunt10,

Thank you attaching your log below. Just need a bit more information before I begin digging into this issue. Would you be using a binary or source build of UE4? Would you also be able to attach your DXdiag to this post?

If you go into the launcher and click on the library tab, you will be able to see the Engine version that you currently have downloaded. If the click on the dropdown arrow next to the version, you will be able to see a button that says ‘Verify’. If you click on this button, would that clear any errors that you have been running into?

Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and have a great day!

Hey. I don’t know if its related but it is looking for a StructProperty in TTW_CharacterBP and than crashes. Now It would be great to see if you might have deleted it but still is being called somehow

Great point Martin!

@DragonHunt10: Has been able to help you package your project? If not, be sure to let me know so that I may further investigate.

Thanks and have a great day!

No, the error was when i was trying to acccess the custom mesh triangles in the blueprint, as i needed to create and update a mesh during runtime. as soon as deleted all references to the custom mesh, it started working again! Any idea why this was happening?

Howdy DragonHunt10,

Glad to hear that packaging is working for your project once again. I have tested this error once again with a reference error in my project and was able to package the project without any errors.

It is possible that that Blueprint could of gotten corrupted. by deleting the references of it, then your project was fixed.

If you do see this error occur once again, please be sure to reopen this issue so that I may be able to further investigate.

Thanks and have a great day!

Hello, sorry to bumo this question again, this time, the build is failing when i try to package it. the error is
“Program.Main: ERROR: AutomationTool terminated with exception:

Hey DragonHunt10,

Sorry to get back to you so late on this issue. I attempted to look into the log files that you attached but it is saying that I need permission to do so. Would you be able to provide the permissions needed?

Thanks!
