I know this is a dumb question, Crossfire

Hi

I have seen that SLI is not supported in UE4, Does that mean that crossfire is also redundant?

Yes I previously had cfx r9 280x and only 1 was ever used while working with unreal engine 4. I now have 2x 970s and the same deal… only 1 is ever used when using unreal engine 4. They say it’s because of their deferred rendering techniques having to rely on data from the previous frame making alternative frame rendering not work. https://answers.unrealengine.com/questions/21746/does-the-ue4-engine-support-sli.html

i got 2 R9 280x as well and i managed to get cfX running! easy also ^^ just go in the crimson driver to the unreal profil ( if u dont got one just make one  ) choose amd crossfire mode, then choose amd pre defiened profile and choose AFR compatible D3D.exe and there u go!
hope that help´d
