I have an UMG widget with an EditableTextBox and a MultiLineEditableTextBox in it. I package the game for HTML5 and run it. When I press the Shift key to write an uppercase letter, a wrong symbol gets printed in my input field. So I can’t write in uppercase. Same happens when I press keys on the number pad. Using UE 4.6.1
However, in the Editor in works as expected. Only HTML5 build. Guess this is a bug. Is there any workaround?
Thank you for reporting this issue. I have been able to produce a successful repro of the issue. I have entered Jira ticket UE-9555 into our bug report so that the issue may be addressed in a future release.
I am also unsure of a workaround for this issue but I will be sure to keep you posted as I see the report being worked on.
I just checked in on the report that was submitted for this issue and it has a possible resolution date for the 4.8 version of UE4. At this time, I am uncertain as to when this version of the engine will be released.
I will be sure to let you know when I know more though.
