Lighting Issues - seams and leaking

Hello guys and girls

I’m currently importing some basic assets into UE4 to make an environment but I’m getting some horrible lighting issues from visible seams to the odd light leak. I’ve got light maps, got a diffuse map but no texture applied for testing and I’ve tried absolutely everything and it’s driving me insane.

did notice a change in light modes though, the static light shows all the seams and leaks in the environment where as movable is perfect around the back of the room but can still see the issue towards the front.

PLEASE HELP!

  • Movable Light

Many Thanks -

Hi!

Read this thread. I think this help you.

Compiling the information in the thread and setting up good examples will take a little bit of time, but this is definitely one of the more commonly brought up issues with static lighting. The thread above will walk you through getting things to work better.
