How can i merge this gravity gun with a VR template?

Hi!

can somebody help me with this VR template and this gravity gun?

A very nice person has given me a working gravity gun template, but when i try to merge it with the VR template it does not work.

I have tried, importing the VR blueprints, variables and other stuff into the gravitygun project.
I have tried importing the gravity gun stuff into the VR template.

i copy pasted the blueprints, and made the variables myself, i tried building this box by box manually.

Sometimes i would get a certain undesirable result, like moving the block with your neck movement (i dont want to get a lawsuit from people who broke their neck on my game).

and sometimes the mouse woul also move the player camera up and down in VR, making me very dizzy…

I want the left-right mouse movement to move my player camera and mesh, and i want the up down of the mouse move the block with the gravity gun.

Here is a file that contains both templates untouched, as well as a folder that has my attempt of importing the gravity gun into the VR template…

I have spent 28 hours on this (no joke) and i am loosing my mind on this conflict between these 2 things.

This might be an error in line of sight, might be an error in crosshair, might be an error somewhere else

somebody please help, but dont attempt this if you can`t handle frustration or are a beginner like me.

quick update. i managed to get it working partially. At least you dont control the block with the neck anymore, and the mouse does not control the HMD angle so im not getting dizzy.

I can not move the block that is grabbed by the gravity gun vertically, i suspect because it is linked to the fist person camera. (if you break this link, you are moving the block with your neck again)

I am trying to figure out if i can move the HMD to a 3rd camera ( i had to make a second camera for line of sight, or else it would only grab blocks on eye height)

now i want to move the blocks up and down with the mouse :frowning:
